'Gab AI'? No. Bugger off.
The problem with this Andrew Torba guy is that he is intent on replacing human communication, thought, investigation, interest, etc, with his 'Gab AI' rubbish.
When i was younger, and i felt lazy to practice my violin, or do my art, or anything else, my mother would say to me gently, ‘you are worth the effort, do it. Even if you don’t feel like doing it, do it just for 5 minutes, and that will open a way inside you’. When i reflected on this a few decades later, i realised that the action of making effort for myself actually served to make me value myself, and because of that, others even more.
The more effort you make for humanity, through thought, investigation, communication, listening, etc, etc, the more you will care for humanity. Did you know that? All empathy, love, care, concern, compassion, is based to a great degree on the activity of expressing this through appreciating each other directly in many ways. When you replace this, your interest in people will gradually wane, and so will you empathy, self-defensive instinct, love, compassion, etc.
When they ‘freed’ women from housework and caring for their children and husband though appliances and ‘careers’, they ended up destroying her care for the family, and with the next generation, the IDEA of the family as well. It is like the family is not worth making all the effort for. Cooking for your loved one reminds you of their significance as opposed to ordering a take-out for them. Think about it.
Ever wonder how did Jesus, or the Prophet Muhammad, or Guru Nanak, or Thiruvalluvar got on without Ai? If AI was around back in the time of Christ, there would be no one to listen to Christ when he delivered his sermon on the mount.
I subscribe to Gab's emails as i do indeed support their stated aim to bypass the megalomaniacal murderous censorship of BigGov/Corp/Tech. But i just about had it with Torba's ‘AI is Everything’ crap. He keeps talking about how his idea of 'Christians' can benefit greatly from it? And he paraphrases that again and again without saying a single meaningful thing.
And then Torba goes on to talk about how we can interact with the numerous 'AI characters' and get different points of view. Why? What's wrong with talking to each other eh?
I stopped posting on Gab myself more than a year ago because of their word limit. There is much to be said for brevity, but not enough can be said if the issue requires further analysis. People aren't convinced by weak arguments that have many loopholes that require people to think about it. Therefore, one has to be comprehensive, and a brief word limit is not going to help get a detailed answer to the people.
Remember, for evil to have its way amongst the people, it goes into detail through its various propagandic and economic arms. So detailed analysis is required to get people enough information to counter these variaous means by which people have their minds mangled subconsciously.
So think about it. Gab imposes a word limit on communication, and which leads to less thought - not unlike emojis and like buttons obviate the need for thought and communication. But on the other hand, Torba asks you to rely on their Gab AI for thought and communication. See what's going on here?
The whole problem here is that the BigGov/Corp/Tech has worked hard to get people to stop thinking. So isn't Gab doing this on the supposedly good side of society? Ironic isn't it. Start a site called 'Gab', which means 'to talk' and therefore to think, and then get people to use Gab AI to do the thinking and talking for them.
Look at an example of the email i was talking about below.
No AI can replace the unique views of people of different cultures, religions, musical and artistic tastes, backgrounds, professions, heights, climate, gastronomic tastes, etc, etc, etc. What this Andrew Torba is basically doing is to get people to replace each other with AI. That's the bottom line, because that's the final outcome.
And then Torba goes on to talk about how we can create imaginary worlds with this AI, and add more 'dragons' in it (warning buzzer should go off here), etc, etc.
Right, we should all become 'gamers', and forget about the outside world with made-up ‘whimsical’ realms on our computer screens, and talk to AI Mickey Mouse Club now is it? The moment we compensate for life with a virtual one, our desire to make it a reality is compromised. We don’t need such escapism. When Jesus said, ‘the kingdom of God is at hand’, he didn’t mean it is at your finger tips in a virtual reality mate. Is this Torba guy a deep corporate plant or what?
I'm alright with Gab AI and all its 'alt' variants so long as it doesn't bring about all that i have mentioned above. That doesn't appear to be the case with Andy's treating Gab AI as the Messianic mouth and mind of humanity. Putting it simply, shove it Andy.
Always look at the final outcome of what these self-professed 'men of the people' and ‘of God’ suggest. That is when you will see their true form.
For myself, I am not good enough to be a ‘Man of God’, i am one of the devil’s minions, but with a conscience, that’s why i recognise my own.
Don't forget, for the devil to be successful, he will create quite a few of the angels and stars for you to look up to on your journey through life. That way, he can slowly steer the evolution of your idea of Good, and have you confuse evil for good, as his luminaries lead you over the cliff of oblivion.
I'm not saying for certain that Torba is a bad guy, but he is white after all. That means that he is still product of the corporate elite whether he likes to face it or not. You may not agree with the evil elite, but the extent of your appreciation of good will still be compromised because of the whole elite-led experience since the Council of Nicaea in 325 anno domini. It is only those who expose themselves to various cultures, times, and spaces, who will stand a chance of undoing that.
